In 2023, Islamic banking experienced significant growth in Egypt, with a total volume reaching EGP 606 billion with an annual growth of 22.3%. Despite holding a 4% market share, Islamic banking's influence was notable, supported by 263 dedicated branches, as per the Egyptian Islamic Finance Association.
