Egypt’s Inflation Rates Continue Increasing in October

Egypt’s inflation rates continued to rise in October, with various sectors experiencing significant increases, according to data from CAPMAS.

Entertainment saw the highest inflation rate at 48.2%, followed by healthcare at 31.3%.

Hotels and restaurants recorded a 30.8% increase, while transportation costs rose by 30.2%.

The food and beverage sector, a key component of household expenses, saw a 26.9% inflation rate.
