Egypt’s wheat reserve suffices for 4.6 months

ArabFinance: Egypt’s wheat reserve is sufficient for 4.6 months, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, Ali El-Moselhi, revealed, according to an official statement on December 26th.

The reserve of oil is sufficient for 4.8 months, El-Moselhi added during a meeting with Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly.

The minister noted that the rice and macaroni reserves were enough for 5.7 and 5.5 months, respectively.

It is worth noting that the General Authority for Supply Commodities announced two tenders for purchasing imported unrefined edible oil for the fiscal year 2022/2023.
