Arab Finance: Emaar Misr for Development’s (EMFD) extraordinary general meeting (EGM) has approved the amendment of Article 3 of the company's Article of Association to add electricity sale to Emaar’s activities, according to an EGX statement on January 23rd .
Accordingly, selling electricity will be added to the current activity of electricity distribution and will be modified the activity of distribution and sale of electricity.
The company is required to obtain all the necessary licenses to carry out its activity, especially the approval of the Egyptian Electric Utility and Consumer Protection Regulatory Agency.
Established in 2007, Emaar Misr is a real estate developer that operates commercial and residential development projects such as residential villages and communities, malls, shopping complexes, villas, townhouses, and apartments.
