Arab Finance: Abu Qir Fertilizers and Chemicals Industries Company (ABUK) reported a 125.86% year-on-year (YoY) surge in net profit after tax in the first half (H1) of fiscal year (FY) 2022/2023, according to the unaudited financial statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on January 29th.
The company recorded a net profit after tax of EGP 7.23 billion in the six-month period ended December 31st, 2022, compared to a profit of EGP 3.20 billion in the same period of 2021.
Revenues grew to EGP 11.23 billion in H1 FY 2022/2023 from EGP 6.25 billion in the corresponding period of the FY earlier.
