Arab Finance: Abu Dhabi Developmental Holding (ADQ) is poised to unveil a comprehensive plan for the Ras El-Hekma development project in the coming months, contingent upon the Egyptian government’s approval, Asharq Business reported, citing Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Ahmed Issa.
During a session at the 21st Annual Conference for the Middle East and North Africa, held at the London Business School, Issa expected the project’s space to be predominantly dedicated to hotels, alongside the establishment of an investment and financial hub, and a significant number of residential and commercial units.
Issa highlighted the integration of Ras El Hekma's development into the ministry's broader vision of creating 200,000 new hotel rooms to bolster Egypt's tourism sector and achieve the ambitious target of attracting 30 million tourists by 2028.
In February, Talaat Moustafa Group Holding (TMG) partnered with ADQ and Modon Properties to develop Ras El Hekma project.
