Arab Finance: The sale of London-based Energean’s portfolio of gas-weighted exploration and production (E&P) assets in Italy, Egypt, and Croatia to the global investment firm Carlyle is expected to be completed by the end of 2024, as per a statement.
The announcement was made during a meeting between the Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi and the company’s CEO Mathios Rigas to discuss the company’s ongoing projects in Egypt.
On June 26th, it was reported that Carlyle Group acquired assets of the Greek Energean PLC in Egypt, Italy, and Croatia.
