Arab Finance: Egypt’s Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan El-Khatib and a delegation from the Jeune Afrique Media Group reviewed the arrangements for holding the Africa Finance and Investment Forum, as per a statement.
The forum represents a unique opportunity to boost cooperation between Egypt and the African countries, prompting joint investment projects between the public and private companies, El-Khatib said.
The minister added that the event will witness the participation of representatives from the Egyptian government and the private sector, which anchors the state’s position as a major investment destination in Africa.
On his part, Florian Serfaty, Deputy CEO of Jeune Afrique, highlighted the importance of Egypt’s role in enhancing regional cooperation in Africa.
He added that Egypt’s participation in the forum will contribute to reinforcing the investment environment and achieving comprehensive development across the continent.
