Egypt-UAE trade records $5.5B in 2024

Arab Finance: Trade between Egypt and the UAE reached approximately $5.5 billion in 2024, driven by key sectors such as agriculture, iron and steel, cables, and machinery, as per a statement.

This comes as Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan El-Khatib heads the Egyptian delegation at the fourth session of the Egyptian-Emirati Joint Economic Committee, held in the UAE on February 24th and 25th.

El-Khatib is set to meet with UAE Minister of Economy Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri to explore ways to enhance economic cooperation across various fields.
