The USA ranks the top country by its official gold reserves, holding the largest reserves in Q3 2024 at 8,134 tons, followed by Germany with 3,352 tons in reserve, according to data by the World Gold Council.
Meanwhile, Italy comes in third spot with 2,452 tons in gold reserves, followed closely by France and Russia, which hold 2,437 tons and 2,336 tons, respectively.
Egypt ranks 32nd on the list, with gold reserves at 127 tons.
