Arab Finance: The Natural Gas Vehicles Company (Cargas) has signed a cooperation protocol with InDrive to support the country’s initiative to convert cars to run on natural gas, as per a statement by the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources.

Under the protocol, Cargas will provide services for converting the cars of InDrive drivers to run on natural gas.

InDrive will undertake the task of Promoting Cargas' services and products through its smart application as well as during training courses for drivers.

The protocol targets unlocking new marketing channels and setting fresh incentives and facilities to encourage citizens to convert their cars to run on natural gas.

The signing comes in line with the ministry’s strategy to expand the utilization of natural gas as fuel.

This move aims to alleviate the burdens on the state’s general budget as well as achieve environmental sustainability.
