Egypt inks MoU to develop Berenice Port’s superstructure

Arab Finance: The Egyptian Berenice Port Company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with a subsidiary of Kuwait’s Al Ghanem Group on developing Berenice Port’s superstructure, according to a statement on April 18th.

The MoU also covers utilizing, managing, operating, exploiting, maintaining, and redelivering Berenice Port.

The agreement came within the framework of the government’s plan to transform Egypt into a regional hub for transport, logistics, and transit trade, along with maximizing the role of the private sector.
