Price of 21-karat gold in Egypt could hit EGP 4,000/gram end-2024

Arab Finance: The price of 21-karat gold in Egypt may surge to EGP 4,000 per gram by the end of 2024, Asharq Business reported, citing Head of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce's (FEDCOC) Gold Division Hany Milad.

This could come in tandem with expectations that gold prices will hike globally to $2,800 per ounce.

The current price of gold per gram is EGP 3,220.
