Madbouly calls for Egypt-Belarus private sector cooperation

Arab Finance: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly has urged the private sector in both Egypt and Belarus to benefit from the potential cooperation opportunities between both countries in several domains, as per a statement.

This came during the Egyptian-Belarus Business Forum in Egypt, bringing together several ministers and officials from both countries.

During the forum, Madbouly called for doubling trade exchange and investments between Egypt and Belarus.

Furthermore, Chairman of the Federation of the Egyptian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ahmed El Wakil highlighted promising opportunities for integrating industries between Egypt and Belarus.

El Wakil stressed the importance of Belarusian companies benefiting from Egypt’s strategic location and establishing logistics centers in Egypt, especially in the Suez Canal area.

Speaking at the forum, the Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko referred to the significant revival of trade exchange dynamics and pace between Egypt and Belarus.

He added that the Belarusian exports to Egypt include vehicles, metals, agricultural machinery, chemicals, and paper, while its imports from Egypt include pharmaceuticals, textiles, vegetables, and fruit.
