Beko invests $100M in Egypt

Arab Finance: General Manager of Beko Egypt Umit Günel announced that the firm invested $100 million in the Egyptian market for their plant project, according to an emailed press release on February 23rd.

This came during a meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly as part of Turkish companies’ delegation interested in investing and developing the Egyptian market.

Günel indicated that the inauguration of the Beko Egypt factory, Turkish major appliance and consumer electronics brand of Arçelik, is supported by the recent efforts of the Egyptian government to push the economic wheel in various fields.
