Fuel price hike not to impact subsidized bread: Supply Minister

Arab Finance: The recent fuel price increases imposed by the Egyptian government will not be reflected on subsidized bread, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Sherif Farouk told Asharq Business.

The government is currently working on re-trading wheat on the Egyptian Mercantile Exchange (EMX) soon, Farouk pointed out.

Additionally, it plans to enhance the performance of the EMX and add all commodities to be traded on it, he noted.
