Arab Finance: The General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) and representatives of all the Egyptian governorates have formed a joint committee to promote investment opportunities across the country, as per a statement.

During his meeting with governorate representatives, GAFI’s Chairman Hossam Heiba stated that the authority is employing its technical and promotional capabilities in all the governates to attract investors.

He added that GAFI will also organize roadshows for several foreign delegations to explore investment opportunities in the governorates, in cooperation with governorate representatives and local investors.

Several public entities and private companies in Egypt are currently offering 1,252 investment opportunities, Heiba pointed out, adding that the authority seeks to increase these opportunities.
