Arab Finance: The Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation is probing to build up the Saudi agricultural investments in Egypt, in cooperation with Al Hokair Group, as per a statement.
This was discussed in a meeting between Minister of Agriculture Alaa Farouk and Founder and Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Al Hokair Group Abdul Mohsin Al Hokair to explore investment opportunities in Egypt’s agricultural sector.
The meeting focused on potential projects in livestock and poultry production, seed production, and land reclamation across nine Egyptian governorates.
Farouk highlighted Egypt’s efforts to create an investor-friendly environment through legislative reforms and a range of incentives aimed at attracting both local and foreign investments.
He also emphasized the significant developments in infrastructure, particularly in transportation, energy, and housing, which support the country’s investment climate.
To facilitate the group's investment plans, Farouk coordinated with relevant ministers and governors to ensure smooth procedures for Saudi investors.
Al Hokair praised the Egyptian market’s potential and expressed the group’s interest in expanding its projects in the country, citing the growing demand for agricultural and tourism investments.
