Arab Finance: The Egyptian Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan El Khatib has met with a delegation from the Norwegian company SCATEC to discuss the company’s ongoing and future renewables projects in Egypt, as per a statement.

During his meeting with a delegation from SCATEC and the Norwegian Ambassador to Egypt Hilde Klemetsdal, they also touched upon the economic ties between Egypt and Norway.

El Khatib expressed his ministry’s commitment to offering the utmost support and facilities for Norwegian companies to invest and expand across various production and service sectors, particularly renewables projects, in the Egyptian market.

On the other hand, Klemetsdal noted that the Norwegian government is seeking to expand the horizon of its projects in Egypt, especially in the new and renewable energy sector.
