Arab Finance: The Main Development Company (MDC), the main developer of the General Authority for Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE), has signed a contract with PYRAMIDS ALU company for a project’s first phase in Ain Sokhna Industrial Zone, as per a statement.
The project’s first phase covers the production of high-quality aluminum frames and solar panels mounting systems.
The project will be executed over three phases, with the first phase covering the construction of a factory on a 5,000-square-meter area with investments of up to $1.8 million.
The factory comprises four plug-and-play units, and is expected to be inaugurated within two months, and create more than 42 job opportunities.
It is worth mentioning that PYRAMIDS ALU factory is a joint venture between Egypt’s ALU AFRIC and China-based ALU PRO.
The factory aims to achieve a monthly production capacity of 1,750 tons via two fully- automated manufacturing lines and a manual production line.
Additionally, the project will use locally-manufactured raw materials provided by ALU AFRIC.
