Egypt requires foreign yachts to pay for fuel at global price

Arab Finance: The Egyptian government has obliged foreign yachts to pay for fuel at the global price, in favor of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EPPC), Asharq Business reported, citing an official document.

The payments will be conducted via the single digital window for foreign yachts.

The Maritime Transport and Logistics Sector (MTLS), affiliated with the Ministry of Transport, called shipping companies and agencies that deal with foreign yachts to comply with the new procedures to avoid legal issues.
