Investment Ministry denies car import quota reduction decision

Arab Finance: The Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade has denied the recently published news on social media on reducing the car import quota by around 20% as of this month, with a maximum of 8,000 cars monthly instead of 10,000, as per an official statement.

The ministry stressed that no official decisions or directives have been issued on setting a limit for car imports in Egypt, noting that there is no such thing as called “import quota”.
