UNDP, Egypt-Japan Business Council seal MoU to foster cooperation

Arab Finance: The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Egypt-Japan Business Council to boost joint cooperation, according to an official statement.

The MoU aims to activate joint collaboration between both sides in various fields, including the organization of joint events and active involvement in the initiatives offered by the UNDP and Egyptian government, business support initiatives, investment promotion, and capacity-building programs.

This is along with research cooperation, corporate engagement, and cooperation in endeavors that support the sustainable development goals within Egypt's regulatory framework.

Furthermore, the MoU will contribute to integrating the Japanese expertise via the Egyptian-Japanese Business Council with the programs offered by the UNDP to expand their activities in Egypt, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan El-Khatib said.
