El-Nasr Castings Company resumes operations after 2-year gear-up

Arab Finance: El-Nasr Castings Company, the leading Egyptian manufacturer of ductile iron products for the water and wastewater industry, will resume operations starting today, November 19th, ending a two-year suspension, Egypt’s Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel El-Wazir announced.

The reopening follows an agreement between the company and its shareholding workers’ union to resolve longstanding disputes.

The agreement aims to improve working conditions for the company’s 1,342 employees.
