Arab Finance: The Egyptian government is ready to support TEDA Holding’s expansions in Egypt through granting more land plots, whether on the Red Sea or the Mediterranean in New Alamein city, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly revealed.
This comment was made by Madbouly during his meeting with Chairman of TEDA Holding to discuss the company’s potential expansion plans in Egypt.
Madbouly highlighted the government's interest in attracting advanced technology industries, including electric cars, renewable energy, solar panels, green hydrogen components, and wind turbines, to TEDA’s industrial zone in Egypt, while providing necessary incentives for these sectors.
Further land plots will be allocated in the Suez Canal area, he said, hoping for the Chinese company to mull over the establishment of a new zone on the Mediterranean.
Meanwhile, TEDA’s Chairman mentioned ongoing efforts to attract more companies to the TEDA industrial zone, projecting the participation of 200 companies with an investment volume of $3.5 billion.
He also discussed potential cooperation in energy generation from waste.
In another meeting, Madbouly and representatives of Yinhua Bevar Group discussed a project for producing chloralkali in the Suez Canal Economic Zone.
The Prime Minister expressed eagerness to support the company’s investments and offered to facilitate incentives to help advance their projects in Egypt.
