ArabFinance: Kahira Pharmaceuticals and Chemical Industries Company (CPCI) announced the audited financial results reporting a 28% Year on Year increase in its net profit in the fiscal year (FY) 2019/2020, according to the company’s August 30th financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange.
Net profit stood at EGP 109.140 million in FY 2019/2020, compared to EGP 85.170 million posted a year earlier.
In late May, the company's extraordinary general meeting approved a capital increase from EGP 19,475,000 to EGP 149,343,750..
The capital will be hiked by EGP 29,868,750 financing from the profit showed in financial statement ended June 30th, 2019.
In the first nine months of the fiscal year (FY) 2019/2020, the company posted net profit reached EGP 92.234 million, 28% Year on Year rise from EGP 72.216 million achieved in the prior-year period.
