ArabFinance: The General Company for Ceramic and Porcelain (Sheeni Egypt)’s extraordinary general meeting (EGM) approved on November 12th the continuity of its business, according to a statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange.
Earlier, the company said its production will be "negatively affected" due to the temporary closure of a gas pipeline in Al Qalyubia Governorate.
The listed company reported a net loss of EGP 54,301,549 in the fiscal year (FY) 2019/2020, a 9% decline from EGP 59,701,487 incurred in FY 2018/2019.
Sheeni is an Egypt-based company engaged in the manufacture and sale of ceramic and porcelain products. It produces porcelain tableware for domestic and hotels, and antiques and vases, as well as ceramic floors and walls.
