Sheeni Egypt loss exceeds EGP 10M

ArabFinanceThe General Company for Ceramic and Porcelain (Sheeni Egypt) reported a 29% Year on Year rise in its net loss for the first three months of the fiscal year (FY) 2020/2021, according to the company’s unaudited financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange.

Net loss stood at EGP 11.574 million in the July-September 2020, compared to EGP 8.987 million incurred in the prior-year period.

On November 12th, the company’s extraordinary general meeting approved on continuity of its business.

Sheeni is an Egypt-based company engaged in the manufacture and sale of ceramic and porcelain products. It produces porcelain tableware for domestic and hotels, and antiques and vases, as well as ceramic floors and walls.
