Sheeni Egypt suffers EGP 21.9M net loss

ArabFinance: The General Company for Ceramic and Porcelain (Sheeni Egypt) (PRCL) incurred a net loss of EGP 21.9 million in 2020, compared to EGP 13.19 million in 2019, according to the company’s unaudited financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange on February 15th.

The company recorded a gross profit worth EGP 9.73 million during the first five months of the fiscal year 2020/2021, compared with EGP 6 million during the July-November 2019 period.

The listed company suffered a net loss of EGP 11.57 million at the end of September 2020.

Sheeni is an Egypt-based company engaged in the manufacture and sale of ceramic and porcelain products. It produces porcelain tableware for domestic and hotels, and antiques and vases, as well as ceramic floors and walls.
