Sheeni Egypt widens loss

ArabFinance:  The General Company for Ceramic and Porcelain (Sheeni Egypt) (PRCL) reported a 59.78% Year on Year hike in its net loss during the June-February period of the fiscal year (FY) 2020/2021, according to the company’s March 23rd filing to the Egyptian Exchange.

Net loss stood at EGP 30.55 million during the eight-month period ended February of FY 2020/2021, compared to EGP 19.12 million in the same period of FY 2019/2020.

The company attributed the increase in loss to the drop in sales.

The listed company reported a net loss of EGP 26.32 million during the June-January period of the FY 2020/2021.

Sheeni is an Egypt-based company engaged in the manufacture and sale of ceramic and porcelain products. It produces porcelain tableware for domestic and hotels, and antiques and vases, as well as ceramic floors and walls.
