EGYSTONE loss widens

ArabFinanceEgypt Intercontinental for Granite and Marble (EGYSTONE) (MISR) incurred a net loss of EGP 224,062 in quarter one 2021, according to the company’s May 9th financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange.

This marked a Year on Year rise of 762% from a net loss of EGP 26,004 incurred in Q1 2020.

In 2019, the company narrowed net loss to EGP 774,822 in 2020, from EGP 1.43 million.

EGYSTONE is a subsidiary of Salama Group which was established over 40 years ago. The company operates within the materials sector, focusing on construction materials, in addition to the supply and installation of all types of granite and general contracting.
