ArabFinance: The General Company for Ceramic and Porcelain (Sheeni Egypt) (PRCL) cut its net loss by 87% during the eleven-month period between July 2020 and May 2021, the company said in a statement to the Egyptian Exchange.
Net loss stood at EGP 5.23 million by the end of May, compared to EGP 40.88 million by the end of May 2020.
The company’s initial business activities achieved a net profit of EGP 3.27 million during the period ended April 31st 2021, versus a net loss of EGP 36.06 million in the same period of the prior year.
Sheeni is an Egypt-based company engaged in the manufacture and sale of ceramic and porcelain products. It produces porcelain tableware for domestic and hotels, and antiques and vases, as well as ceramic floors and walls.
