Golden Pyramids Plaza turns to profitability in H1

ArabFinanceGolden Pyramids Plaza (GPPL) reported a consolidated net profit attributable to the parent company of $11.16 million for the first half (H1) of 2021, versus a loss of $6.35 million in H1 2020, according to the company’s financial statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

Operating revenue reached $54.31 million in the January-June period of 2021, up from $42.05 million in the same period of 2020.

It is worth noting that the company previously posted a standalone net profit of $14.18 million for H1 of 2021, compared to a profit of $2.01 million in H1 2020.

Established in 1991 and listed on EGX in 1997, Golden Pyramids Plaza operates within the consumer services sector focusing on hotels, resorts, and cruise lines.
