NUDAP’s consolidated losses widen in 2021

ArabFinanceNorth Upper Egypt for Development and Agricultural Production (NUDAP) reported higher consolidated losses attributable to the parent company in 2021, registering EGP 9.101 million, up from EGP 1.010 million in 2020, according to financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Monday.

Net sales dropped to EGP 827,546 in 2021, from EGP 24.784 million in 2020.

Meanwhile, standalone net loss after tax surged to EGP 8.984 million in the full year ended December 31st 2021, from EGP 1.214 million the year before, financial statements showed.

NUDAP is an Egypt-based public shareholding company that operates in the agricultural sector. The company is primarily engaged in producing and trading agricultural chemicals such as fertilizers, insecticides, and pesticides.
