Egypt Free Shops’ consolidated profits jump 48.5% YoY in 9 months

Arab FinanceEgypt Free Shops Company (EFSC) (MFSC) has reported a 48.5% year-on-year (YoY) increase in consolidated profit attributable to the parent company for the first nine months of fiscal year (FY) 2021/2022, according to the consolidated financial income statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on May 29th.

The company recorded a consolidated profit attributable to the parent company of EGP 135.98 million during the first nine months of FY 2021/2022, down from EGP 91.54 million in the same period in FY 2020/2021.

Total operating revenue grew to EGP 655.08 million in the nine-month period ended March 31st from EGP 505.87 million in the FY-ago period.

EFSC is an Egypt-based company listed on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) that is engaged in the import and sale of duty-free goods and consumer products.

It offers several brands and types of alcoholic beverages, tobacco, fragrances, and gift items.
