Union Pharmacist Company’s losses increase 31.8% YoY in Q1

Arab Finance: Union Pharmacist Company for Medical Services and Investment (UPMS) posted a 31.8% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net losses for the first quarter (Q1) of 2022, according to the financial statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on May 31st.

The company suffered a net loss of EGP 20,524 in Q1 2022, versus EGP 15,564 in Q1 2021.

Operating revenue amounted to EGP 137,973 in the first three months of 2022, up from EGP 128,946 in Q1 2021.

Established in 2008 and listed in 2016, Union Pharmacist operates within the pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and life sciences sectors.
