Rubex International swings to loss in H1

Arab Finance: Rubex International for Plastic and Acrylic Manufacturing (RUBX) turned to a loss during the first half (H1) of 2021, according to the financial statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on August 21st.

The company posted a net loss after tax of EGP 3.771 million in H1 2022, compared to a net profit of EGP 2.194 million in the same period a year earlier.

Revenue edged down to EGP 91.782 million in the January-June period from EGP 91.946 million in H1 2021.

Rubex is an Egypt-based joint-stock shareholding company engaged in acrylic and plastic products manufacturing.

The company manufactures and distributes household plastic and acrylic products that include acrylic bathtubs and corner bathtubs, acrylic shower trays, acrylic bathroom panels, and others.
