AMOC’s standalone profits skyrocket 162% YoY in FY 2021/2022

Arab Finance: Alexandria Mineral Oils Company’s (AMOC) net standalone profit after taxes jumped 161.91% year-on-year (YoY) during the fiscal year (FY) 2021/2022, according to the standalone financial income statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on August 21st.

The company’s net profit after taxes soared to EGP 1.044 billion in the FY ended June 30th from EGP 398.78 million in FY 2020/2021.

Net sales surged to EGP 18.219 billion in FY 2021/2022 from EGP 10.003 billion a year earlier.

It is worth noting that AMOC's consolidated net profit after tax amounted to EGP 1.226 billion in the 12-month period ended June 30th, compared to EGP 499.286 million in FY 2020/2021.

AMOC is an Egypt-based company that operates in the petroleum industry. The company specializes in the production of essential mineral oils, paraffin wax and its derivatives, naphtha, and butane, as well as distributes and markets them in Egypt and abroad.
