Golden Pyramids Plaza’s standalone profit jumps 165.7% YoY in Q1

Arab Finance: Golden Pyramids Plaza (GPPL) reported a 165.7% year-on-year (YoY) growth in standalone net profit after tax for the first quarter (Q1) of 2022, according to the standalone financial statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on September 4^th.

The company recorded a net profit after tax of $26.99 million in Q1 2022, compared to $10.159 million in Q1 2021.

Operating revenues grew to $42.25 million in the three-month period ended March 31^st from $24.08 million in the year-ago period.

Established in 1991 and listed on EGX in 1997, Golden Pyramids Plaza operates within the consumer services sector focusing on hotels, resorts, and cruise lines.
