Golden Pyramids Plaza posts 124.2% YoY profit growth in H1

Arab Finance: Golden Pyramids Plaza (GPPL) reported a 124.18% year-on-year (YoY) surge in standalone net profit after tax for the first half (H1) of 2022, according to the standalone financial statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on October 27th.
The company recorded a net profit after tax of $31.79 million in H1 2022, compared to $14.18 million in H1 2021.
Operating revenues grew to $64.11 million in the six-month period ended September 30th from $43.03 million in the year-ago period.
Established in 1991 and listed on EGX in 1997, Golden Pyramids Plaza operates within the consumer services sector focusing on hotels, resorts, and cruise lines.
