Golden Pyramids logs 150.2% YoY consolidated profit hike in H1

Arab FinanceGolden Pyramids Plaza (GPPL) posted a 150.2% year-on-year (YoY) hike in consolidated profit attributable to the parent company during the first half (H1) of 2022, according to financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Monday.

The company’s consolidated profit excluding minority interests surged to $27.924 million in H1 2022 from $11.162 million in H1 2021.

Operating revenue soared to $65.28 million in January-June from $54.32 million the year before.

The company recorded a standalone net profit after tax of $31.79 million in H1 2022, compared to $14.18 million in H1 2021.

Established in 1991 and listed on EGX in 1997, Golden Pyramids Plaza operates within the consumer services sector focusing on hotels, resorts, and cruise lines.
