Arab Finance: Egyptian Resorts Company (ERC) (EGTS) reported a 1232.3% year-on-year (YoY) surge in consolidated loss attributable to the parent company during the first nine months of 2022, according to financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Wednesday.
The company’s consolidated loss excluding minority interest surged to EGP 64.297 million in from January to September from EGP 4.826 million the year before.
Meanwhile, the company posted a standalone net profit after tax of EGP 528,380 in nine months to September 30th, compared to a net loss of EGP 17.756 million a year earlier.
ERC is an EGX-listed company based in Egypt that operates in the tourism and hospitality sectors.
