CIRA logs 20% YoY higher consolidated profit in August-end

Arab FinanceCairo Education (CIRA) posted a 20.15% year-on-year (YoY) increase in consolidated profit attributable to the parent company during the 12 months that ended on August 31st 2022, according to financial statements filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Wednesday.

The company’s consolidated profit excluding minority interest rose to EGP 370.769 million in the September-August period from EGP 308.574 million the year before.

Operating revenues surged to EGP 1.717 billion from S eptember 1st 2021 to August 31st 2022, versus EGP 1.39 billion during the same period a year earlier.

Moreover, CIRA’s standalone net profit after tax soared to EGP 307.476 million in September-August from EGP 148.22 million the year before.

CIRA is an Egypt-based company, operating in the investment field across diversified sectors, including education, construction and real estate, health care, information technology, and support services.
