Arab Finance: Suez Canal Bank (CANA) recorded a 95% year-on-year (YoY) surge in net profit after tax during the first nine months of 2022, according to the financial statement filed to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on November 15th.
The bank’s net profit after tax rose to EGP 734.75 million in the January-September period from EGP 376.977 million in the same period a year earlier.
Meanwhile, return on loans and equivalent revenue jumped to EGP 3.884 billion in the nine months to September 30th from EGP 3.192 billion in the comparative period of 2021.
