Happy World Wind Day

Wind farms across Egypt are expected to generate 1,042 GWh of electricity in 2023 which is 8% less than the 1,132 GWh produced last year, according to Egypt’s New & Renewable Energy Authority.

Wind power accounts for 20% of the total energy produced from three farms in Egypt during the first quarter (Q1) of this year. The three wind farms’ total capacity is 1,375 MW.
