Egypt’s Trade Deficit Fall in May 2024

In May 2024, Egypt's trade deficit fell to $3.57 billion, marking a year-on-year decline of 10.3%, as per data from CAPMAS.

Imports for the month totaled $7.38 billion, while exports reached $3.81 billion.

Egypt's non-oil trade deficit plunged by approximately 16% to $15.9 billion in the first half (H1) of 2024.
