Arab Finance: The Italian Agency for Development Cooperation and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will back startups and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Egypt with €2 million, the EBRD announced.

The funding will allow the two sides to launch the startup and MSME program in Egypt, with a main focus on providing advisor support and industry expertise to women and youth-led businesses.

Through the 2022-2027 country strategy between Egypt and the EBRD, the Ministry of International Cooperation works to support the country’s efforts to achieve comprehensive and sustainable economic growth, accelerate transition to a green economy, enhance competitiveness, and stimulate the private sector’s role.
