Cabinet nods to MEDLOG’s dry port project in 10th of Ramadan City

Arab Finance: The Egyptian cabinet has given the nod to a draft law granting the commitment to finance, design, construct, use, maintain, and redeliver a dry port and logistics center in the 10th of Ramadan City to the Geneva-based MEDLOG, in a partnership with the private sector, as per a statement on March 27th.

The cabinet also approved Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly's proposed which grants authority to the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) to take part in setting up a joint-stock company named ‘Al-Alamein Port and Yacht Management Company’.

The anticipated company will be tasked with the establishment and management of a state-of-the-art yacht marina in the North Coast.

Furthermore, the cabinet greenlit the allocation of a plot of land to the General Authority of Red Sea Ports for the construction of Taba land and sea ports, within the broader developmental agenda for Sinai.
