China’s CSCEC opens CNY 87.4M steel structures factory in SCZONE

Arab Finance: The China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) has opened CSCEC Steel Egypt, a steel structures manufacturing factory in the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE), with investments totaled CNY 87.4 million, as per an official statement.

Spanning an area of 27,039 square meters, the factory is set to produce 25,000 tons of steel structures annually.

This project also targets offering 200 job opportunities.

The factory’s operations include technical development of the steel structures, as well as designing, testing, processing, and constructing them.

The factory was built in eight months as per a partnership agreement between the SCZONE and the industrial developer TEDA-Egypt.
