Egypt receives 1.8M tons of wheat from local farmers since April 13th

Arab Finance: Egypt has received around 1.8 million tons of wheat from local farmers since the beginning of the current harvest season on April 13th, Assistant to Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Ahmed Kamal stated.

It is worth mentioning that the country targets purchasing 3.5 million tons of wheat this harvest season, as announced by Minister of Supply and Internal Trade Ali Moselhy on April 28th.

On March 28th, Moselhy revealed that Egypt’s strategic wheat reserves are sufficient for three months.
